On September 13-14 Tomsk state university will host the meeting of six EU centers in Russia.
On 20 June a round table discussion on "Prospects for the development of relations between Russia and the European Union: the role of civil society" take place at Tomsk State University.
Tomsk State University invited professor of the Free University of Brussels (ULB) Amandine Crespy to deliver a course on May 10-14. She offered a course “Contemporary Euroscepticism and its Role in European Politics” to the students of the International Relations Department.
The International Scientific Conference “Socio-cultural and Political Transformations in Europe and Eurasia in Modern and Contemporary Times” will be held on September 26 – October 1, 2012 at Kemerovo State University. It is planned to focus on a broad range of historic issues and contemporary phenomena in public organizations and political structures of Europe, Russia and other Eurasian countries. Conference participants are expected to discuss the transformations in socio-cultural environment, political institutions and international relations and compare the dynamics of modernization processes.
On March 29 Tomsk State University hosted a workshop “Europe – Russia – Siberia: Common and Special in National and Civil Integration”. The workshop was jointly organized by EUCES, Liberal Mission Foundation, Moscow office of the Kennan Institute (USA), and Friedrich Ebert Foundation (Germany).
