NATO Representative will visit Tomsk

On October 14, 2013, at 14:30, in room 209 of TSU main building, Director of NATO Information Office in Moscow Robert Pszczel will deliver (in Russian) a lecture on the topic “Key issues of international security including Russia and NATO relations”.

On October 15, 2013, at 10:35, in room 27 of 3d TSU building, a round table with Robert Pszczel will be conducted on the subject of “Issues of NATO-Russia relations.”

Robert Pszczel’s Biography

Born on September 24, 1962, in Warsaw.


1981-1984 – Bachelor of Economics; diploma with first-class distinction in “International relations”, London School of Economics (UK)

1984-87 – Master of Political Science (“International relations” specialization), Warsaw University (Poland)

Professional track:

1987-90 – Journalist of “SM” newspaper (Poland)

1990-93 – Expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of European Institutions (Warsaw)

1993-97 – First Secretary of the Embassy of Poland, Office for Communications with NATO and WEU (Brussels)

1997-99 – Adviser on Political Affairs at the Mission of Poland to NATO, Official Representative of the Mission (Brussels)

Since December 1999 – Media Relations Representative, later –Media Relations Senior Representative in charge of Poland-related public diplomacy projects, Press and Mass Media Section, Public Diplomacy Office, NATO Headquarters (Brussels).

Married, has got two children.
